'Nice and glossy shine to the sauce. Lovely sweet aroma. Hazelnuts come through really nicely with a hint of toastiness. Good velvety smooth texture and the salt level is well administered. Good combination makes for a luxurious sauce. Would be great on ice cream. '

We pride ourselves on our truly outstanding and luxurious sea salted caramel. What has been described by world wide chefs as the crème de la crème of salts we infuse fleur de sel into our rich creamy caramel. A rare and wonderful hand harvested sea salt from the south of France.

 

This thick and creamy salty caramel is wonderful drizzled over puddings, ice cream and chocolate desserts once heated. Otherwise enjoy cold and spread onto crumpets, toast, waffles or pancakes. 


Many customers have found all sorts of ways to enjoy our caramel. Stir into coffee, hot chocolate, or even mixed into hot porridge.  



Three wonderful layers of pure heaven! Each flavour has a luxurious centre wrapped with our signature gooey cocoa bean ganache that has been crafted from La Iguana's home grown cocoa beans or tropical Madagascan cocoa beans.  Dark  Collection


A silky and fruity caramel with caramelised sugar notes and a such of sea salt. An inner core which is then wrapped in a dark and tangy Madagascar chocolate ganache. Finally these two layers are rolled a 70% dark chocolate.



Madagascar Volana


Colour - Red mahogany from the rare criollo-trinitario cocoa. Finished with a gold dusting.

Texture - Thin crisp shell with a soft and slightly crunchy centre due to the infusion of crushed Madagascar cocoa beans..

Taste - Rich fruity notes, low bitterness with acidic undertones
Origin - Sambirano,  north west Madagascar

Madagascar Maraina


Colour - Light brown from the rare criollo-trinitario cocoa and extra milk added. Finished with a bronze dusting.

Texture - Thin crisp shell with a soft and slightly crunchy centre due to the infusion of crushed Madagascar cocoa beans.

Taste - Creamy and fruity with strong cocoa notes and undertones of caramel flavours.
Origin - Sambirano,  north west Madagascar

 Hazelnut Caramel Triple Truffle 

A thick and luxurious caramel centre created from Panela cane sugar, distinct in taste with parallal notes of mollasses and liquorice. The outer core is an earthy, gooey Columbian chocolate ganache enclosed in a thin 70% dark chocolate.



 Raspberry Caramel Triple Truffle 


A creamy and tangy lemon centre wrapped in creamy and buttery Madacascan 34% white chocolate ganache. Two wonderful layers  wrapped in a thin white chocolate shell dusted with a sprinkle of cocoa butter.

Origin - Mastatal, West Costa Rica & Alajuela, North Costa Rica. 

Luna, a Spanish translation for 'moon' was the name of one of La Iguana Chocolate's most loyal dog companions who sadly past away in 2015.
